Double Pole for Kane at Mondello

Romatecme's Stephen Kane edged P1 Motorsport driver Danilo Dirani on the tight circuit to take his second pole of the weekend. Dirani had brake trouble in the first session but was able to perform to his potential this time round.

2005 Champion Alvaro Parente (Carlin Motorsport) will start from third, ahead of T-Sport driver Ryan Lewis.

More Dallara drivers fill the third row on the Naas circuit, which is owned by Lola boss Martin Birrane: Fortec Motorsport's Mike Conway (who had to pull of the circuit late in the session) and Carlin's Charlie Kimball start fifth and sixth.

The two races - the penultimate meeting of the season - will both take place tomorrow.
