Di Resta First for Second Race at Hockenheim
Paul di Resta has claimed pole for the second race in the season opening Formula Three Euroseries meeting at the Hockenheimring
Di Resta claimed a time of 2 minutes 01.194 in a wet qualifying session. The Scotsman, who is a cousin of IRL driver Dario Franchitti, has always been impressive in the wet in both Formula Renault and British Formula Three, and it appears that this record continues.
The Signature pairing of Loic Duval and James Rossiter were next fastest, imposingly ahead of ASM's title favourite Lewis Hamilton, while rookie phenomenon Sebastien Vettel surprised the field by running fourth fastest.
Qualifying for the first race will be run tomorrow morning, ahead of the race.
