Dennis Van de Laar replaces Mitch Gilbert at Mucke for Macau F3 GP

Dutchman van de Laar, 19, has spent the year with Van Amersfoort Racing in the Formula 3 European Championship, but was left without a drive for Macau as the team has not entered the event.

He now joins Mucke to drive one of three Dallara-Mercedes F312s entered for Macau, alongside Euro F3 runner-up Felix Rosenqvist and Yuhi Sekiguchi.

Australian driver Gilbert, 19, who finished 23rd in the Euro F3 points with Mucke this year, revealed on Friday night that he had failed to raise the budget for Macau.

The announcement means that only one of Mucke's Euro F3 regulars, Rosenqvist, features in its Macau line-up with neither Gilbert, Michael Lewis or Roy Nissany present.
