Bruno Senna Takes Maiden F3 Pole

Bruno Senna took a popular maiden pole position at the Nurburgring today, and he will share the front row in this afternoon's second race with Raikkonen Robertson Racing teammate Dan Clarke

Alvaro Parente's dominance seems to have gone, as the Portuguese driver and runaway points leader will start third after taking his customary pole for the first race.

Parente looked unusually untidy on his quick laps, but still led for much of the session until the Double R duo overhauled him.

Parente's teammate Charlie Kimball, who struggled in yesterday's session, improved to register fifth-best time, just behind Hitech Racing's Marko Asmer. Mike Conway (Fortec Motorsport) will line up in sixth.

The two Nurburgring races will both take place later today.
