Another Silverstone Win for Parente

Carlin Motorsport's Alvaro Parente took another Formula Three win at Silverstone today, as he continued his seemingly relentless run to the British title

The Portuguese driver led from pole position to finish in an uneventful race on the Grand Prix layout. Inevitably, it was his teammate Charlie Kimball who came home second - this time the American did not have the advantage of a superior set of tyres as in his win yesterday.

Third was Mike Conway and fourth was Marko Asmer, a close fight but one that never looked like producing an overtaking move as they circulated well ahead of Dan Clarke and Danilo Dirani.

Steven Kane and Bruno Senna were both eliminated in a bizarre incident within yards of the green lights that left both cars wedged up against the pit wall and caused an early safety car.
