Mike Conway has announced that he will not be competing in the forthcoming Formula E season, with Oriol Servia his replacement at Dragon Racing.
The 31-year-old Briton, who has just completed a part-time campaign in IndyCar with Ed Carpenter Racing, said he would be unable to devote himself to the all-electric series due to his commitments with Toyota's LMP1 programme.
"I wish all the guys at Dragon the best of luck for the forthcoming Formula E season," said Conway.
"It's a shame I can no longer participate but as I couldn't commit to the whole championship, we both felt it best to focus my attention on my sportscar programme.
"I'm looking forward to watching the new series unfold and hope Servia and d'Ambrosio bring home some podiums for the team."
Fellow IndyCar driver Servia is already familiar with the American squad having participated in pre-season testing with it at Donington Park alongside team-mate Jerome d'Ambrosio.
The first race of the inaugural Formula E season gets underway in Beijing on September 13.
