FIA Formula 3 Championship contender Jehan Daruvala has been ruled out of the Macau Grand Prix due to a knee injury suffered in training.
The Indian driver finished third in the championship with Prema Racing, the outfit that won the teams' championship two rounds early.
Daruvala was just pipped for second in the championship but took two wins, five podiums and a pole position during the season.
Prema also locked out the top three in the drivers' championship after Robert Shwartzman beat Marcus Armstrong to the title in Sochi last month.
The two Ferrari Formula 1 juniors Shwartzman and Armstrong were confirmed for the non-championship Macau event - which features the same teams and cars as F3 - alongside Daruvala.
Competing with Carlin, Daruvala has a best finish of 10th at Macau in 2017 and finished 12th in '18.
The Prema team confirmed to Autosport that discussions were underway to find a replacement for Daruvala at Macau, while the squad is currently taking part in the F3 post-season test at Valencia.
