Sam MacLeod claimed a comfortable victory in the second British Formula 3 race at Rockingham to make it two wins from two starts in the championship.
The Fortec Motorsport driver made a superb getaway from fourth on the grid to lead before the seven-car field had even reached the Turn 1 banking.
He held off team-mate Martin Cao, also away well from the second row, on the run into Deene for the first time and was not challenged again on his way to recording another dominant triumph.
Cao held second to the end, keeping Alice Powell and the recovering Matt Rao at arm's length throughout.
Powell passed reverse-grid poleman Camren Kaminsky for fourth before mid-distance and though the Double R man attempted to retaliate initially, an off at Brook shortly afterwards dropped him to fifth.
That promoted Rao, who had pulled off good moves on Peter Li Zhi Cong and Andy Chang in quick succession at Deene, into fourth and he duly became Powell's pursuer.
Less than a second covered them throughout the final dozen laps but Powell held on to clinch her first British F3 podium.
