British Formula 3 champion Jordan King will stay on with Carlin for a second season in European F3 this year.
The 19-year-old Briton contested a combined programme in the two series in 2013, finishing sixth in the European standings while also beating Will Buller to the crown in the scaled-down British championship.
"I'm very happy to be working with Carlin again this season and building on the momentum we gathered towards the end of 2013," said King.
"I learnt a lot last year and using that experience together with the work we have done over the winter puts us in good shape for the season ahead."
Team boss Trevor Carlin said King had made great strides during his maiden F3 season last year.
"Jordan surprised many last year with his form and pace," said Carlin.
"He worked hard throughout the season and took on board all the advice that was given to him to put himself in a position to challenge for race wins at the end of the year.
"His confident performance in Macau just emphasised how far he had come."
