Two drivers have been put to the back of the grid for the Macau Grand Prix qualification race due to engine-change penalties.
Yuichi Nakayama and Ed Jones, the champions of Japanese Formula 3 and European F3 Open respectively, will therefore start from 27th and 28th.
Nakayama's engine change on his TOM'S Dallara-Toyota came as a result of his crash during first qualifying, which halted the session with a minute and a half to go. He qualified 21st on Friday.
Anglo-Emirati Jones felt his Fortec Motorsport Dallara-Mercedes to be down on power, and after qualifying 26th the team decided to make the change now to allow him to progress to a better grid position for Sunday's final.
The two penalties are in addition to the yellow-flag punishment meted out after second qualifying to Jazeman Jaafar, who drops from eighth to 13th on the grid.
