Javier Villa will join Arden for this weekend's GP2 Asia Series round at Abu Dhabi.
The 22-year-old Spaniard has raced in GP2 since 2006 and will replace Rodolfo Gonzalez, who drove for the team at the season opener.
"I am really happy to be racing for Arden," said Villa, who has driven for Racing Engineering and Super Nova in his four years in GP2. "They are a good team and I feel we can work together and push hard in these races.
"I am looking forward to this weekend. Qatar was a night race and I enjoyed that - it was a good race. I am sure I will like the car, the team and the track, and I am very motivated for this weekend."
Arden's head of race engineering Richard Dent added: "Javier has been involved in GP2 since 2006 and is familiar with these cars. I am sure he will be a contender this weekend in what looks like a competitive field."
