Former Grand Prix racer Giorgio Pantano will remain in GP2 this year after securing a drive with Racing Engineering.
The 28-year-old Italian has won five GP2 and six F3000 races in his career, including two GP2 feature race victories last season for Campos Racing.
Racing Engineering will field Pantano alongside Javier Villa, who last season won three sprint races for the Spanish squad, who are targeting victory in both championships this year.
Team boss Alfonso do Orleans said: "With the two drivers we have, we are going for the drivers' and teams' titles.
"We have the technical and financial resources to make this happen. Both drivers have won before and I'm sure they will win again."
