Ben Hanley will drive for Campos Racing in his maiden GP2 season this year, the team have announced.
The British driver, who is part of the Renault Driver Development programme, has raced in World Series by Renault for the past two years, and he finished as runner-up in the championship last season.
Hanley has already tested for Campos at Paul Ricard this winter, but he believes that they have a lot of work to do if they want to compete at the front next year.
"The pre-season testing is going to be extremely valuable," Hanley said in a feature in this week's Autosport magazine. "The team and I have really got to get our heads down.
"We've got to try and build a relationship so that we can work together 100 per cent straight away."
Hanley will join Vitaly Petrov, who will spend a second season with Campos after taking his maiden win at Valencia at the end of last year.
