GP2 race winner Norman Nato and Sean Gelael join Arden for 2017

GP2 race winner Norman Nato will rejoin Arden International for 2017, as team-mate to Sean Gelael

As predicted by Autosport last month, Nato is returning to the team with which he made his GP2 debut in a difficult 2015 season after a breakthrough year with Racing Engineering.

"I am very happy to join the Jagonya Ayam [Gelael's backers] family and to rejoin Arden this season for the GP2 Series," said Nato.

"It is where I made my debut in GP2 so it's great to be back again.

"Last year was a strong season for me so I'm really optimistic we can do a good job with Sean and the team."

Gelael joins Arden, which will carry Pertamina backing as part of the deal, having driven for Campos last year.

He took a podium finish at the Red Bull Ring, behind team-mate Mitch Evans in a Campos one-two, but only scored points on one other occasion.

"I am really pleased to join Pertamina Arden this year," Gelael said.

"It's a very experienced team that has shown consistency through the seasons.

"The post-season test in Abu Dhabi went well so it was obvious to keep working together for the 2017 season."

Arden's past GP2 successes include taking Heikki Kovalainen and Luiz Razia to runner-up finishes in the 2005 and '12 championships, but has not won a race in the series since the latter campaign.
