GP2 and GP3 will both be part of the Russian Grand Prix support bill when Formula 1 makes its debut at Sochi in 2014.
The announcement that the two F1 support series would race in Russia was made during their end-of-season awards event in Abu Dhabi on Sunday night.
GP2 and GP3 run alongside all European grands prix, with GP2 also joining the F1 programme in Singapore for the first time in 2012, and both hosting their season finales at this weekend's Yas Marina event.
The inaugural Russian GP is scheduled for October 3-5 next year.
The nation's interest in the F1 feeder categories is set to increase further in 2014 as the Russian Time team adds a GP3 programme to its GP2 squad.
The latter clinched the 2013 teams' title in its debut year this season, having also come close to the drivers' championship with Sam Bird.
