Webber Not Worried by BMW Talk
Mark Webber is confident about his future with the Williams team despite increasing speculation that the British team could end their partnership with BMW
Both Frank Williams and co-owner Patrick Head have been critical of their engine partner during the week, with Head accusing the German carmaker of dishonesty while Williams criticised the "constant finger-pointing".
Webber, however, is optimistic that whatever route his team decide to follow, it will be for the best.
"I have massive, massive trust in Frank and Patrick," said Webber. "It would be massively naive if you sit there thinking 'we'll be fine for three years if the results aren't there we'll stay together' - it just isn't like that.
"I'd be lying if I said BMW aren't important to me. I know how professional they can be. BMW are sill an impressive outfit but I've always said I want to drive for Frank. Frank is no youngster when it comes to looking after his team and negotiating.
"I think they will work incredibly hard to help the BMW thing along and whatever engine we have next year will be for the benefit of the team. If it's BMW then that was the right thing to do, if it's not then I trust them to do the right thing and get the right engine."
