Walkinshaw denies Red Bull buy-in
Arrows team boss Tom Walkinshaw has denied that Red Bull is to buy a stake in his Formula 1 outfit, following speculation in the British press that the energy drink is set to end its seven-year involvement with the Sauber Team and switch its allegiance to Arrows

Red Bull has been the title sponsor for the Sauber team since 1995 and owns a 62 percent share in the Swiss outfit, but according to British Newspaper, The Sunday Times, founder of the Austrian company, Dieter Mateschitz has been looking to increase his involvement in Arrows.
However, Walkinshaw has refuted the claims. He said: "It's just pure speculation. There's no truth to this at all."
Mateschitz is thought to have fallen out with team boss Peter Sauber over driver choice at the beginning of the season. Sauber gave the second seat alongside Nick Heidfeld to young Finn Kimi Raikkonen, rather than Enrique Bernoldi, who had been driving for the Red Bull Junior Team in Formula 3000.
Bernoldi managed to find himself a home at Arrows and the young Brazilian brought Red Bull backing to the Leafield-based team this year. The Sunday Times, claims Mateschitz is looking to sell his Sauber shares in order to buy the 70 percent stake in the Arrows team, currently owned by city firm Morgan Grenfell.
Following Walkinshaw's comments however, Mateschitz will have to look elsewhere.
