Villeneuve: “I've no need for revenge”
Jacques Villeneuve has insisted there will not be a repeat of his recent bust-up with Juan Pablo Montoya at this weekend's European Grand Prix - and insisted that he's not out for revenge

Villeneuve allegedly grabbed the BMW-Williams driver by the throat after a heated confrontation in Canada two weeks ago. He was unhappy with Montoya for blocking him during practice, but Montoya claimed the BAR race ace brake-tested him, and their debate on the subject turned nasty, then physical.
Now, the Canadian has said the episode is behind him.
"It has always been finito," said Villeneuve as he prepared for the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. "There was no point dwelling on it as far as I am concerned. We haven't actually talked to each other about it but I don't think there will be a problem.
"The only time I have seen him has been in the drivers' briefing, so there has been no communication between us or no social time spent together."
Villeneuve insists Montoya is not a reckless racer, and doesn't expect any similar problems in the future.
"I think I can trust him on the track," he continued. "It should be okay. There have been some messages both ways and there shouldn't be any problems on the track. I hope there won't be.
"There is no need for revenge or anything like that. That would be stupid."
