Trulli not ruling out another podium
Jarno Trulli is not ruling out another podium finish at the British Grand Prix, although the Toyota driver admits it will be hard to repeat the feat
Trulli finished in third place at the French Grand Prix last Sunday, giving his Toyota team their first podium since the 2006 Australian Grand Prix.
The Italian is now hoping for another strong outing at Silverstone, although he is aware that repeating the result will not be easy.
"We hope to be back again in the top ten and score points," Trulli told autosport.com during testing at Silverstone.
"Obviously a podium finish is difficult but we have seen in Magny-Cours that it's possible in certain conditions. So we just have to come here and do our best and see the outcome of the race in the end."
Trulli admitted he was delighted with Sunday's performance, which allowed him to taste the champagne again for the first time since the 2005 Spanish Grand Prix.
"It didn't taste like my wine, but nevertheless I appreciated it," joked Trulli, who makes his own wine. "It was good to get back on the podium, for Toyota, for everybody. I was really pleased."
The Toyota driver believes the fight for fourth place in the constructors' championship is likely to be hard all season, with the Japanese squad closely matched by Red Bull, Renault and Williams.
"It's very tough, if you look at the laptimes. We are there, together with Red Bull and Renault, but every race is a big battle.
"We did very well last weekend, but in Canada Red Bull and Renault were stronger than us. So it depends on the circumstances, the conditions and the track."
