Trulli Enjoying Promising Season at Jordan

Jarno Trulli has admitted he is enjoying his 2001 season with the Jordan team, being in sixth place in the championship after the first five Grands Prix of the year.

Jarno Trulli has admitted he is enjoying his 2001 season with the Jordan team, being in sixth place in the championship after the first five Grands Prix of the year.

The Italian driver, who has been loaned to Jordan by Benetton team boss Flavio Briatore, has scored points in each of the last three races in Spain, San Marino and Brazil, outshining his more experienced team mate Heinz-Harald Frentzen.

The Pescaran reckons he is now feeling confident following his promising start of the season and is looking forward to the rest of the year.

"I'm really happy about my situation in the last three races because three times in a row I've scored points and was close to getting on the podium," said Trulli. "I'm pretty happy not only because of the points but because I'm performing well.

"The fact that I'm scoring more and more points is helping me a lot, especially during the races. I can feel much more comfortable and when I want to put down a very quick lap I can now because I have the confidence."
