Schumacher's title quandary

Having helped secure the constructors' championship for Ferrari at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday, Michael Schumacher now faces a dilemma of where he would like to clinch his inevitable seventh title

The German dominated the action in Sunday's Budapest show taking an easy record-breaking 12th season victory. Schumacher now faces a difficult decision though: where to celebrate the winning of another world championship.

Team-mate Rubens Barrichello is Schumacher's nearest challenger and the only driver mathematically capable of denying him the crown. The Ferrari star could tie it all up at the next race in Belgium, providing he wins the race. But the German is torn as to whether he would prefer to celebrate in Belgium or at Ferrari's home race the Italian Grand Prix at Monza two weeks later.

"Both races have an attraction to win the drivers' championship if I could do so," said Schumacher, who made his debut at the Belgian Grand Prix in 1991 and took his first F1 victory there a year later.

Monza has an obvious appeal though, coming as it does with thousands of tifosi.

"Spa obviously has a lot of special meaning to me, it's very close to my home as well," he added. "Obviously Monza, Italy, has a different attraction that explains itself.

"If I have a possibility I will go for one or the other...but whether it's going to happen, that's another story."
