Schumacher Quickest at Barcelona
World Champion Michael Schumacher outpaced his teammate Luca Badoer in testing at Barcelona, as the Jordan team were forced to postpone the debut of their revised EJ15B car
The new car was scheduled to compete its first outing today at the Spanish circuit, but a missing device that did not arrive on time forced the team to skip today's session.
Jordan are now expected to debut the EJ15B tomorrow, with Tiago Monteiro and Narain Karthikeyan doing the driving.
With Jordan out for the day, it was only Ferrari who took to the track, with Schumacher completing 67 laps as he continued with a programme of aerodynamics and tyre testing.
Test driver Luca Badoer covered 119 laps and finished nearly a second behind.
