Ferrari continued testing yesterday at Fiorano, with Michael Schumacher joining Luca Badoer at the track.
The two drivers worked on different programmes, with Schumacher concentrating on preparations and set-up for the race in Hungary, while Badoer continued to work on developing the F1-2000, with an emphasis on set-up. Schumacher completed 85 laps with a fastest time of 1:01.308, while Badoer completed 67 laps with a fastest time of 1:01.377.
"I have got over the accident in Hockenheim. I have already been through worse moments than this. Now I am looking ahead. This run of bad luck has to end. I have always gone well in Budapest and I hope I will pick up ten points," Schumacher commented. "Now it is much tougher, but on the other hand I am still leading despite all the troubles I have had, so it should not be a problem! There is still time to turn the page and get the championship back in hand again," he added, Schumacher realising that as bad as things have been, they could have been worse.
Schumacher continues today at Fiorano.
