Ralf has an Xmas amnesty

Toyota ace Ralf Schumacher has brought a brief war-of-words with a German comedian to an end in the wake of his aborted investment into a sex shop business

The German pulled out of plans to invest on the Beate Uhse firm after comedian Stefan Raab mocked the move in his television show - labeling the F1 driver 'porn Ralf' and his wife 'hard Cora'.

And although there had been talk of legal action being taken on Schumacher's behalf against Raab, the matter has now been brought to a close - prompted in part by the comedian's range of Ralf-based T-shirts and caps proving hugely popular with his fans.

Schumacher buried the hatchet after appearing on Raab's show and is now hoping the matter can be swiftly forgotten.

"Putting this case at rest was my personal part of Christmas amnesty," said Schumacher. "But there was much more than simply putting aside this little quarrel. There was also a rather outstanding income from all those shirts and caps - more than 100,000 Euros!

"We have made sure that goes to charity. I do not have no sense of humour."
