Montoya fires back at DC
Juan Pablo Montoya took a light-hearted pop at David Coulthard at Spa, in the wake of comments made by the Scot after the Hungarian Grand Prix
After Montoya ran off the road trying to defend his position from Kimi Raikkonen at the Hungaroring, Coulthard said: "He should have just given up the position. Why say, 'I'm a man, I'm not going to do that,' and then drive off the track?
"It gained him nothing and it's about time people started to point out that there's more to eing a racing driver than a qualifying lap and being ballsy. It's about being ballsy at the right time and in the right place."
Montoya, with six pole positions behind him this year, hit back: "The fact that I can put a lap together doesn't mean that I am putting more effort into qualifying. That's his problem, not mine.
"I think he should try and concentrate more on doing his job and trying to beat Kimi [Raikkonen] than talking about somebody else. That's what I think."
