Jordan Sale 'Possible'
Speculation that Jordan owner Alex Shnaider is ready to sell the team just months after taking over the outfit has not been dismissed out of hand by senior team sources
The Monaco Grand Prix paddock has been awash with rumours that former Jordan driver Eddie Irvine is behind a bid to purchase the team off Shnaider, who is believed to have become disenchanted with the sport after the team's lack of results this year.
And although Shnaider has so far not spoken in public about his future plans for the team, a senior team insider has told Autosport-Atlas that a sale of the team could not be ruled out.
The source said: "A sale would be possible to the right buyer."
The only public comment from the team so far has come from sporting director Trevor Carlin, who told Autosport-Atlas that there was no foundation to the Irvine rumours.
"It is incorrect. There is no story," he explained.
