Grapevine: Alonso Craves for Peaceful Life
Renault driver Fernando Alonso says he craves a peaceful life away from the pressures of Formula One, according to an exclusive interview in this week's Autosport
The World Championship leader said his ever-growing fame had made it almost impossible for him to relax at Grands Prix.
"Sometimes I would like to go to the toilet alone, and maybe speak to the engineers without having to run," he said. "There are photographers that are ok and photographers that are always....waiting for me a little too much."
"I don't like parties, the music, the volume is too high, I'm seeing people 12 hours a day, a hundred people around me. I need to be at home in silence with no lights."
