Ferrari to keep pushing

Ferrari's general manager Jean Todt says the team will continue to push for the rest of the season despite wrapping up the constructors' championship at the Hungarian Grand Prix and Michael Schumacher's imminent victory in the drivers' championship

Schumacher and team-mate Rubens Barrichello dominated the action in Budapest on Sunday securing their seventh 1-2 of the season while Schumacher notched up a record-breaking 12th victory of the season.

The German now has a 38-point lead over his nearest challenger Barrichello with five races left to run, the Brazilian is the only driver who can mathematically beat Schumacher. Should Schumacher win the next race in Belgium he would clinch his seventh title.

Even if that's the case, Todt insists the team will not relax for the rest of the season as it bids to remain in front of its rivals.

"It doesn't mean that it will be the same in Spa or in Monza," Todt said following the team's domination in the Hungary Grand Prix. "Every time it's a new challenge, which makes the thing interesting.

"But even if we know we have a good package, we know that the others are pushing like hell, because they hate seeing us in front, and we hate seeing them in front. That makes the competition. Relaxed? I'm never relaxed, but I think that's in my nature. It's easy to say that nobody will beat us, but believe me they are all crazy about how they will beat us and when they will beat us.

"We are going to fight as much as we can to still beat them. I always feel that we will not win the next race," he added. "But we keep motivation up because we want to continue collecting wins and titles."
