Bid for VIP British GP tickets

The Sporting Chance Appeal has been given two pairs of VIP tickets to the British Grand Prix on 15th July. The tickets have been donated by Microsoft and ICL

Now you can bid for these tickets in our sealed auction.

Although each pair of tickets is valued at just under £1200, there is no reserve price, and every penny raised will be sent directly to The Sporting Chance Appeal.

All you have to do is email the Sporting Chance Appeal offices at sportchance@aol.com with your bid NO LATER than 12.00 midday on Monday 9th July.

*You can either buy one pair, or both pairs of tickets. The tickets cannot be sold individually.

The package

The Sporting Chance Appeal's VIP tickets are at the point of the track widely regarded by motor sport aficionados as the best viewing point on the entire circuit.

Located between Stowe and Club corners, these facilities provide guests with a first class view of the notoriously fast Hanger Straight leading into Stowe Corner, The Vale, through Club Corner, and then on up to the Abbey Chicane, thus enabling guests to see almost half the circuit from 40-50ft above the track.

Each glass-fronted suite has its own balcony, offering superb views during the many parades and aerial displays that also go to make the British Grand Prix one of the most popular days on the British summer's sporting calendar. Additionally, opposite the suite is a giant closed circuit TV screen so guests will miss none of the action, from start to finish.

Our VIP Grand Prix package includes the following:

Reserved car parking adjacent to the complex.
Admission tickets to Silverstone Circuit and VIP complex.
Morning coffee, biscuits and hot/cold pastries on arrival in your suite.
Champagne reception prior to lunch.
Superb 4-course lunch with accompanying wines, coffees and liqueurs.
Complimentary bar including champagne throughout the day
Silverstone official radio hats with circuit commentary pre, during and post race analysis.
Traditional afternoon tea.
Souvenir Programme and Race Itinerary.
Colour TV and closed circuit TV within your suite.

The Sporting Chance Appeal

The Sporting Chance Appeal was launched by the British Wheelchair Sports Foundation (BWSF) in 1999 to raise more than £3-million towards the redevelopment and refurbishment of the world-famous national wheelchair sports centre at Stoke Mandeville.

After 30 years of extensive use, the cost of renovating and refurbishing these national facilities to a world class standard will be £9,500,000. The British Wheelchair Sports Foundation has submitted a bid to the National Lottery Charities Board and a sum of £6,150,000 has been ring-fenced by Sport England towards the re-development costs.

HRH The Prince of Wales launched the Sporting Chance Appeal in March 1999 to raise the £3.3-million shortfall. To date the Appeal has successfully raised £1.8-million leaving £1.5-million to be raised in the coming year. So far the Appeal has received huge support from able-bodied sport with the England rugby squad alone raising over £300,000.
