Adam Cooper, who first met Ratzenberger in 1985 and came to know him very well, joins Edd Straw to offer a unique insight into Ratzenberger.

There are also interview extracts from those who worked and raced closely with Ratzenberger, including Eddie Irvine, while there's also a rare chance to hear a short interview with the man himself - recorded back in 1993.

How Ratzenberger earned his tragically brief F1 shot

Ratzenberger's early days working for Walter Lechner's race team and racing school, his days in Formula Ford and career in Japan are all covered.

There's also a look at his all-too-brief F1 career with Simtek, and an explanation of why Ratzenberger's performances had just taken a step forward before his accident.
