Autosport Podcast: F1 Monaco Grand Prix Review
Sergio Perez claimed a historic victory at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix as a combination of Ferrari strategy blunders and traffic issues cost both its drivers a likely maiden home triumph.

The Red Bull driver profited from key tyre strategy calls to leapfrog both Ferrari drivers, before defending his lead from Carlos Sainz after a red flag stoppage for Mick Schumacher’s heavy crash.
Charles Leclerc was left to rue “too many mistakes” by Ferrari as he slipped to fourth place, while F1 world title rival Max Verstappen also profited to take third place and extend his lead in the standings.
Further back George Russell beat fellow British driver Lando Norris to maintain his run of finishing every race inside the top five, while Fernando Alonso led a F1 car train in seventh as he held off a frustrated Lewis Hamilton.
But how did Perez win Monaco? How did Leclerc lose from a controlling position? And could Sainz have won with his daring straight-to-slicks strategy? To discuss those topics and more, Autosport F1 reporter Luke Smith and GP Racing’s Stuart Codling join host Martyn Lee to analyse the Monaco GP.
