Formula 1 hopeful Stefan Grand Prix has announced it has come to an agreement with Toyota Motorsport to receive technical support from the Japanese company.
The Serbian squad is still aiming to make the grid in 2010 despite not having a slot, and plans to test throughout the year if it does not get an entry.
Stefan GP has acquired the rights to the design of the chassis Toyota was planning to use in 2010 before the Japanese manufacturer decided to pull out of the sport.
Stefan GP said on Friday that it is continuing to push with its efforts to enter F1.
"Stefan GP has just come to a basic agreement with Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) that Stefan GP will receive technical supports from TMG," the team said in a statement.
"Further details will be released to the press in due course."
