Williams technical director Sam Michael doesn't believe that his team will be adversely affected by the impending departure of chief aerodynamicist Loic Bigois to Honda.
Bigois, who moved to Williams from Minardi in 2003, is currently on gardening leave while a starting date for his appointment as the head of Honda's revitalised aerodynamics department is negotiated.
Michael said that while Bigois had been a valuable member of the team, moves were already being made to fill the gap.
"We've got a pretty good plan in place," he said. "My efforts are going towards the new plan. We've got a pretty good idea of what we're going to do.
"Loic has made a good contribution to Williams, he's a good guy to work with and I'm sure he'll do good things for Honda.
"I have got a lot of respect for him, but he wants to move on to new challenges and he leaves with no ill-feeling."
