The Super Aguri and Honda teams kicked off on Tuesday a three-day test at the Jerez circuit in southern Spain.
Only Honda's Christian Klien and Super Aguri's James Rossiter were in action at the Spanish circuit on a warm and sunny day.
Klien conducted a shakedown of a number of new mechanical parts the team will introduce mid-season, also carrying out various electronic controls settings and completing a number of race start simulations.
The Austrian covered a total of 77 laps, but no laptimes were issued by Honda.
Rossiter, meanwhile, ran through various chassis set-up options, completing a 76 laps with a best time of 1:20.926.
The test continues today.
