GP2 driver Alexandre Premat has been drafted as Spyker-Midland's third driver for the Chinese Grand Prix next week, and the Frenchman will begin testing for the team at Silverstone tomorrow.
Premat, who finished the GP2 season third in the championship, is the final driver to take the third car at Spyker-Midland, after the team announced earlier today that Adrian Sutil will be their third driver in Japan, with Ernesto Viso already confirmed to hold the role in Brazil.
"This is a great opportunity to try an F1 car at MF1 Racing (Spyker)," Premat said. "I've been waiting for this day since I first started racing as a young boy.
"I've worked so hard for this opportunity and am determined to show my full potential at Shanghai and show I have earned it.
"I'm looking forward to helping the team develop the car both on the Friday at Shanghai, and during the test at Silverstone."
