Private equity firm CVC, through Alpha Prema UK Limited, on Tuesday completed the acquisition of the Formula One Group.
The news comes after the European Commission gave the green light to the deal last week, subject to CVC selling its Spanish subsidiary Dorna, promoter of the MotoGP championship.
Alpha Prema, a newly formed company, will now control Formula One's commercial rights after completing the acquisition of the SLEC holding company.
"We are pleased that we have now completed our investment in Formula One, and look forward to working with Bernie Ecclestone and his team to further develop and grow the business," said Donald Mackenzie, from CVC.
