Brazilian Felipe Massa made his debut at the wheel of the new Ferrari on Friday, when he tested the car at Fiorano.
After teammate Michael Schumacher completed the car's first test on Monday, it was Massa's chance to work with the new machine from the Italian squad.
The car, which has been designated the project code of 657, was the same Schumacher used on Monday, without any new components.
Furthermore, a Ferrari spokesman confirmed to autosport.com that all components were inspected after the initial test day and were found in good shape.
Massa covered a total of 83 laps, posting a best time of 58.244 - over a second quicker than Schumacher's best on Monday.
Ferrari will officially launch the new car next Tuesday. The team said a decision will be made, based on today's test results, whether the car should have another running prior to the launch or not.
