Giorgio Piola's 50th anniversary of covering Formula 1 is celebrated in the latest edition of The Autosport Podcast.
The legendary technical illustrator's career started at the 1969 Monaco Grand Prix, and to the mark the occasion he has selected his favourite Grand Prix cars.
Among Piola's selection is machinery from Lotus, Tyrrell, McLaren, Ligier, Brabham, Red Bull and Ferrari, with some cars selected for their brilliance and some for the stories he associates with them.
Piola also talks about the legendary designers responsible for the great cars, including Adrian Newey, Mauro Forghieri, John Barnard, Colin Chapman and Gordon Murray.
