Summary

Hamilton secures Mercedes 1-2 in FP2 with 1m16.883s
Verstappen best of the rest in third
Leclerc highest Ferrari in P6, Vettel P12
Status: Stopped
And that, it seems, was that for Friday practice. We'll be back with you tomorrow for FP3 and qualifying - so join us again then! Bye for now.

No changes expected, meaning Hamilton will end this session on top, from Bottas and Verstappen.
And that's the end of FP2. Last laps are coming in now...
"The tyres are pretty consistent", Magnussen says, happy with the medium compound it seems.
Just Latifi, Grosjean, Sainz and Hamilton are in the pits, as it stands.
A bit of a lock-up for Vettel into turn 10, leading him to pit having snatched at the front. He does the same coming in to stop.
Ah, Grosjean exited Turn 10 and was met with a bit of an intermittently-firing engine.
Grosjean pulls into the pits, citing something wrong with the power unit.
Perez currently fastest in the speed trap, 342km/h - which is 212mph for those who prefer imperial. If you're a scientist and prefer SI units, that's 94.8 m/s.

There's a lot of gravel on the exit of turn 12, and might require a quick sweep. Bottas appears to be the culprit, kicking up kitty litter onto the track.
"Both axles zero grip, it's like driving on ice", Russell reports. He's still having a miserable time on those C1 tyres.
15 minutes remain of FP2.

A replay of a sticky front-left for Stroll in the pits there. You'd rather have that in practice than in, say, the race.
A full gamut of tyre compounds on the road now. It's not quite the old Pirelli tyre rainbow, when you had orange superhards and pink ultrasofts, but it's less confusing.
You can see a little band of wear on Hamilton's right rear, as he circulates on medium tyres amid a race run.
Just over 20 minutes of FP2 remain.
Sainz, meanwhile, is told not to use the old track at turn 13. Which is upsetting, we'd rather have that than The Chicane of Tedium.
Kvyat looked like he was gearing up for a hot lap, but that might be because he went deep into turn 1.
Grosjean still 0.014s up on Leclerc, so using that tiny piece of evidence out of context, it's clear Ferrari backed the wrong horse for 2021.
"The wear balance so far seems a bit better", Bottas reports. He's been very a-wear of that.
Verstappen is told the Mercedes have "stabilised to a 1m23.0s". We wanted to see how the Dutchman stacked up, but he just goes in the pitlane instead.
They're all, apart from Giovinazzi, on the soft tyres. The Italian is on mediums.
"Brakes suddenly feel very bad," says Raikkonen, not happy with his Alfa Romeo's stopping power.
Hamilton's sort of doing in-out laps, and practicing starts at the pit exit. It's all part of FP2's rich tapestry.
Bottas is continuing to trundle around on used softs, seeing how long they can last.
A bit of a sidey-slidey from Vettel in that final sector replay. He's in the pits now, doing hopefully fewer slides.
Bottom 10: 11. Stroll, 12. Vettel, 13. Albon, 14. Norris, 15. Kvyat, 16. Magnussen, 17. Raikkonen, 18. Giovinazzi, 19. Latifi, 20. Russell
Top 10: 1. Hamilton, 2. Bottas, 3. Verstappen, 4. Ricciardo, 5. Grosjean, 6. Leclerc, 7. Sainz, 8. Perez, 9. Ocon, 10. Gasly
I think we're well in the phase where some of the drivers are checking out how long these softs can last for. We're just over halfway through, so let's bring you an order...
Alfa seems to have the legs on Williams so far this weekend, with Raikkonen and Giovinazzi both ahead of Latifi and Russell.
Ocon gets off the bottom of the timing board and goes P8, half-a-second off Ricciardo.
Leclerc gets up to P4, before Ricciardo eclipsed him and Grosjean to P3. He really wants Abiteboul to get that tattoo...
And that's a P3 for Grosjean, who's looked a bit quick this weekend so far.
And that's a 1m16.883s for Hamilton, elevating himself above Bottas.
The Racing Points are up into the top five now, Perez and Stroll now fourth and fifth as the field all switches to softs for this phase of the session.
