Hamilton and Leclerc head Vettel in third and fourth
Leclerc crashes in Q1 but is able to carry on after swift repairs
Hulkenberg, Albon, Kvyat, Giovinazzi and Magnussen out in Q2
Russell, Perez, Ricciardo, Stroll and Kubica out in Q1
Status: Stopped

Hamilton: "Max did a great job and so did Valtteri. But we're in a great position to win tomorrow; I'm always up for a fight. It's not the easiest place to overtake so strategy will come into it, and hope we can give them a run for their money."
Bottas: "We were kind of chasing it a little bit this weekend after what happened in practice 1. Obviously very close with Max, they've been very quick but as always, there's still a race to come."
Verstappen: "It's incredible. I'm very happy about today, there's still a race to do and at the end of the day it's the most important. But it's very nice, and it's great for all the team."
"Better late than never mate, congratulations!" says Verstappen's engineer. He'll be a happy chap.
It's amazing that Verstappen's never had a pole until today! He's F1's 100th pole sitter, and the fans in orange are in absolute raptures.
Q3 results: 1 Verstappen, 2 Bottas, 3 Hamilton, 4 Leclerc, 5 Vettel, 6 Gasly, 7 Norris, 8 Sainz, 9 Grosjean, 10 Raikkonen.
It's the first Formula 1 pole position for Max Verstappen!
Hamilton can only manage third place, while Vettel is a couple of hundredths behind Leclerc in fifth.
Verstappen improves to 1m14.572s - and Bottas comes up just 0.018s short!
Leclerc comes across the line under a tenth off Verstappen.
Gasly improves but stays sixth, but is out of reach for the midfield.
Vettel now quickest of all in the first sector, while Verstappen is fastest in the second.
Leclerc is quickest of all in S1, but is only marginally faster than Verstappen and Bottas - with Hamilton two tenths down.
Grosjean improves to seventh place, before Norris retakes the spot.

Verstappen is running behind Leclerc but ahead of Bottas, Hamilton and Vettel on the road.
Norris, Sainz, Raikkonen and Grosjean head out on fresh softs, having all seemingly done their first laps on used rubber.

A tense wait until the second round of flying laps, in which the other frontrunners will attempt to deny Verstappen his first pole position in F1.
Current order: 1 Verstappen; 2 Bottas, +0.178s; 3 Hamilton, +0.188s; 4 Vettel, +0.388s; 5 Leclerc, +0.479s; 6 Gasly, +0.580s; 7 Norris, +1.428s; 8 Sainz, +1.816s; 9 Raikkonen, +2.164s; 10 Grosjean, +2.522s.

The track record, earlier today, stood in the 1m16s. It's now in the 1m14s. These cars are FAST.
Vettel and Leclerc are quicker than anyone in the first sector, as usual, but ultimately slot into fourth and fifth place. It's a provisional Verstappen - Bottas front row at the moment.
Verstappen goes top! 1m14.958s, courtesy of a session-best second sector.
Gasly's first lap takes him third, four tenths off Bottas.
"The sun's gone in, the track may cool by three or four degrees," says Sainz's engineer.
But Bottas is 0.010s quicker! Norris is now third, 1.2s off the pace but ahead of Sainz and Raikkonen.
Hamilton gets that tenth back in the second sector, and sets an eventual 1m15.146s.
Bottas is a tenth up on Hamilton in the first sector.
Hamilton is first out on track, followed by Raikkonen and Bottas.
Time for the pole shoot-out, which starts now - 12 minutes and a bit to determine who will line up first on the grid tomorrow.

It certainly seems that, from afar, the new Haas upgrades are a lot more heat sensitive. As the temperatures have risen, Magnussen hasn't had the grip available to him. It's still a curious situation.
Advancing to Q3: 1 Hamilton, 2 Verstappen, 3 Bottas, 4 Leclerc, 5 Vettel, 6 Norris, 7 Sainz, 8 Grosjean, 9 Gasly, 10 Raikkonen.
Eliminated: 11 Hulkenberg, 12 Albon, 13 Kvyat, 14 Giovinazzi, 15 Magnussen.
Albon, Kvyat and Giovinazzi do not improve, so Gasly is safe from them - and Magnussen's lap has gone away too.
Gasly improves but stays ninth, as Raikkonen moves into 10th place behind him.
