We'll let you have a breather now. The Hungarian Grand Prix is next up, and it's the final one before the summer break. Join us next weekend for the round in beautiful Budapest!
And here's the report. It's taken a while to unpack, but if you fancy reliving a stunning race in written format, your best bet is here:
Verstappen wins wild German GP from Vettel, disaster for Mercedes

When was the last time the podium had two Honda-powered drivers on it? Our own Scott Mitchell reckons it was Senna and Berger in the '92 Portuguese GP, but it depends if we count Mugen prefixes. If yes, then we can add '98 Belgium to that list, surely?
What a breathtaking race that's been. On a weekend dominated with Mercedes's 125th motorsporting anniversary, the podium's occupied by two Honda-powered cars and a Ferrari car. Probably not what they planned.

The last podium conversation between Vettel and Kvyat in the cooldown room was a lot different. A lot lot different.
Kvyat also confirms that his baby was born last night - what a weekend. Congratulations to Dany and Kelly on the little one!
Kvyat: "It was amazing, amazing to be back on the podium. Incredible for Toro Rosso, after so many years it's great to get a podium."
Magnussen sneaks by the Vettel interview, presumably trying to avoid an irate Grosjean...
Vettel: "It was a long race! At some stage, it felt never ending. I'm just happy."
Verstappen: "It was amazing, but really tricky out there. To make the right calls, you had to be focused. We put on the slick tyres, had a 360, but it's alright!"
What about that from Vettel too? P20 to P2. Lovely stuff.
Sainz waits by the Toro Rosso mechanics to congratulate Kvyat. Former team-mates still with masses of respect for each other.
Verstappen leaps out of his car and immediately into the arms of his team.
Last time a Toro Rosso made the podium was Vettel's win in 2008 at Monza - in conditions much like this. Amazing effort from Kvyat.
Holy smokes. Phenomenal race. Rain - the great equaliser. Albon got sixth, as the Alfas took seventh and eighth courtesy of Raikkonen and Giovinazzi. Grosjean and Magnussen, for all of their transgressions, complete the top 10.
What. A. Race.
Vettel comes home second, with Kvyat, Stroll and Sainz not far behind.
Max Verstappen wins a wild German GP for Red Bull.
Verstappen is well clear of Vettel, with Kvyat looking safe in third.
Verstappen starts the final lap.
The Gasly/Albon incident is now under investigation.
Vettel takes second from Kvyat with another DRS pass towards the hairpin - he started right at the back!
That's Gasly! He tried to pass Albon and runs into the back of him! That's his day over.
And indeed with the DRS advantage Vettel easily takes third on the run to the hairpin to the delight of the home crowd.
DRS has been enabled - that's bad news for Stroll.
Verstappen has now edged to a 2.1s lead over Kvyat.
Vettel is now closing up to Stroll - could be late heartbreak for Racing Point.
And that Grosjean/Magnussen kerfuffle is being looked at by the stewards. Crikey.
Gasly tries an overtake on Albon, but the Thai driver has absolutely none of it!
Kvyat has managed to stay just one-second behind Verstappen so far.
But Vettel manages to recover and dives past Sainz at the hairpin to take fourth!
Vettel is being pressured by Albon for P5.
Verstappen shoots clear - again.
The race is back underway!
