Status: Stopped
So, that's about that for our live coverage, but remember to keep checking the site for plenty of post-race reaction tonight and more news through the week.

Here's our report – join us in a couple of weeks for the start of F1's first triple-header. Bye bye!
Canadian Grand Prix: Vettel takes F1 championship lead with win

Vettel celebrates with his Ferrari mechanics. He leaves Montreal leading the championship.

Vettel celebrates with his Ferrari mechanics. He leaves Montreal leading the championship.

Time for the trophies, and the champagne. Celebration all-round for this trio: Ferrari and Vettel the happiest of the lot.
And now the much more buoyant Italian anthem for Ferrari, which definitely gets stuck in the head of at least two of our F1 journalists.
Time for the national anthems, Germany first for the victorious Vettel.
Everyone is gathered by the podium. Here come the drivers, including a bounding Vettel!

Verstappen's not giving much away, but seems a happy man: "It was a good race. We had to pit early because the hypersofts were pretty much gone but then we had a good pace on the supersofts. In the last few laps we were very competitive."
Bottas says he got into a bit of trouble running out of fuel, which allowed Verstappen to close in.
Vettel's final word is to call this a day to remember Gilles Villeneuve. Nice touch.
On the title: "There's still a long way to go so I'm not too bothered. It's a good side-effect."
Paul di Resta's been waiting patiently for this. Vettel says: "Perfect is a good way to describe. I said yesterday how much this place means for Ferrari. To have a race like we had today was unbelievable. After a long stretch that Ferrari didn't win here, I looked around and the people were happy."
Vettel's picked up a Ferrari flag and, helmet still on, is walking around waving it. He's delighted, but finally being guided back to his post-race media obligations.
Vettel hops (literally) out of the holding area for the cars to dive into his Ferrari team's arms. Meanwhile, Mercedes congratulates Bottas on a job well done.
Vettel also becomes the first driver this season to reach three victories. Arms aloft – he's a happy chappy. Bottas and Verstappen will not be unhappy to be second and third and, pretty comprehensively, ahead of their team-mates.
Vettel makes it back to the pitlane. His 50th grand prix victory earned with supreme control.
Vettel is lapping up the applause. Huge Ferrari support down at the hairpin, and Vettel is enjoying this. He's on the back straight now.
Retirements: Alonso, Hartley, Stroll
Outside the points: 11 Gasly; 12 Grosjean; 13 Perez; 14 Magnussen; 15 Ericsson; 16 Vandoorne; 17 Sirotkin

Ricciardo ended the race with the fastest lap on the final tour: 1m13.835s.
Result: 1 Vettel; 2 Bottas; 3 Verstappen; 4 Ricciardo; 5 Hamilton; 6 Raikkonen; 7 Hulkenberg; 8 Sainz; 9 Ocon; 10 Leclerc
Bottas fends off Verstappen for second, and Ricciardo keeps Hamilton at bay with ease in the end to finish fourth.
"I don't know what's going on with the inside wheel, it's always in the air," says Grosjean. "I hope nothing's broken." Not far for him to go, though. He's on course for 12th still.
NOW the chequered flag comes out for real. Vettel wins the Canadian Grand Prix and takes the championship lead!
Vettel points out to Ferrari that he's not done yet...
Err...the chequered flag is out. But there's a lap left.
Vettel is onto the final lap. Serene drive for the Ferrari man.
Bottas does the same in the middle sector to fend off Verstappen!
Ricciardo pumps in the best first sector of the race so far as he bids to repel Hamilton's attack.
In the reverse of the Mercedes/Red Bull fight a little way up the road, Verstappen is within DRS range of Bottas for the first time. Two laps left!
Further frustration for Hamilton who catches Sirotkin through the fast sweeping Turn 5. Bit more time lost. Hamilton has it all to do.
Hamilton's right behind Ricciardo but he's made a mistake at the hairpin and that's probably ruined a great chance to attack down the back straight. Ricciardo survives another lap. Three laps left.
Just 3.8s now covers Gasly, Grosjean, Magnussen and Perez in 11th to 14th. But chances of wild excitement seem slender today.
Mercedes tells Hamilton he can go all out to fight Ricciardo. He's back on the tail of the Red Bull, which is yet to clear Hulkenberg.
Sudden fastest lap of the race from Verstappen, a 1m13.864s. He's 1.8s behind Bottas – a late fight for second?
Grosjean reports a "noise at the rear" as he continues to push Gasly for 11th.
McLaren tells Vandoorne he'll have a shot at passing Ericsson soon as they both get lapped and as the Sauber's tyres fade. The gap is now 3.7s in their sort-of-battle for 15th.
Five laps to go and Vettel leads by eight seconds. The only fight at the front is Ricciardo vs Hamilton for fourth.
