The chequered flag comes out.
Just a few seconds to go in practice two now, Friday will end with another Mercedes one-two and Hamilton on top again.
"The deployment is stupid, do we have the same problem maybe?" Alonso asks McLaren.
 
 
Verstappen has also continued running extensive flow-vis on the diffuser area of his Red Bull right through the afternoon.
Verstappen is having some eventful laps, catching a sideways slide on the way into the Senna S and kicking up grass and dust at the final corner.
 
 
 
Red Bull tells Ricciardo to prepare to switch to "mode 7", and that "it's a more aggressive mode 7 than you've raced before".
"OK Romain, vibration increasing so we need to box," says Haas. "Do I need to slow down?" he asks. "No, normal pace is fine."
 
"Verstappen is now on old softs and doing 1m13.8s," Ricciardo is told. "Did he start on those?" he asks. "Yes, he's done 11 laps."
Everyone is currently running bar Ericsson, who Sauber hasn't sent back out again since his minor crash.
 
 
 
"We felt some drops of rain, so be cautious," Haas tells Giovinazzi.
Though the pitwall computer continues to say "no rain expected".
"A few drops of rain reported on the pitwall," McLaren tells Vandoorne. It's definitely got more cloudy throiugh the session.
 
"Pace looks OK, quicker than Renault, tiny bit slower than Force India," McLaren tells Vandoorne.

"Feedback on pace - not too bad at the minute, two or three tenths quicker than Verstappen," Ferrari tells Raikkonen.

"The car is mega-pointy on entry," says Ocon, who asks if "anything broke?" "Not as far as we know," replies Force India.
Alonso now gets his chance to try super-softs and launches up to 10th place, 1.1s off the pace.
"The car is OK, the tyres will be..." says Grosjean. The team tells him there's a lot of vibration so it's best to pit.

Grosjean has a spin at the end of the long back straight. He quickly gets going again.
