Here's our report on an eventful Monaco GP qualifying session. We'll be back with you tomorrow for live coverage of the race, followed by the Indianapolis 500. Make sure you're comfortable!
Raikkonen takes Monaco Grand Prix F1 pole, Hamilton goes out in Q2

Raikkonen on pole, Hamilton out in Q2, both McLarens through to the final segment - and a special mention for Sainz getting into the top six. That was a very entertaining qualifying session.

Raikkonen waves to the crowd and gets a hand shake from countryman Bottas.

Q3 order: 1 Raikkonen, 2 Vettel, 3 Bottas, 4 Verstappen, 5 Ricciardo, 6 Sainz, 7 Perez, 8 Grosjean, 9 Button, 10 Vandoorne (no time).
Kimi Raikkonen takes pole position for the first time since 2008.
"It's pole, Kimi, it's pole," says Ferrari. "Good. Thanks guys," says Raikkonen, Raikkonen-ish-ly.
Sainz has taken sixth behind the big hitters - that's a very good effort.
Fourth for Verstappen, 0.3s down, this is pole for Raikkonen.
Bottas misses out by 0.045s - he's third!
Vettel can't beat Raikkonen! He's 0.043s down on his team-mate.

Vettel is 0.042s down on Raikkonen at sector two...
Flag is out.
Vettel is up on Raikkonen on what will be a last-gasp attempt.
One minute to go: Raikkonen, Bottas, Ricciardo, Vettel, Verstappen, Grosjean, Perez, Sainz, Button, (Vandoorne).
Vettel slows right, right down at Rascasse to try to build a gap for his final pole bid.
Raikkonen goes even faster with a 1m12.178s - beat that, Vettel.

Button improves to a 1m13.7s but he's still ninth.
Bottas moves into the big gap behind Raikkonen to sit on the front row as things stand. Plenty of action still to come here in the final 120 seconds of qualifying though.
Grosjean goes sixth, ahead of Perez, Sainz and Button.
Button warms up gently with a 1m18.9s.
Ferrari send Raikkonen and Vettel out for their final attempts. Raikkonen is sitting pretty at the moment, while Vettel has Ricciardo's Red Bull to overhaul to make it an all-Ferrari front row.

Bottas, Sainz, Grosjean and Button are all on track with four minutes to go.
Most cars are back in the pits, so Button heads out for what is going to be his only Q3 run. Good job for British fans that Button came back - he's the only Brit taking part in this session.
1 Raikkonen, 2 Ricciardo, 3 Vettel, 4 Bottas, 5 Verstappen, 6 Perez, 7 Sainz - no times yet from Grosjean, Button, or the crashed Vandoorne.
Verstappen asks Red Bull what's going on with the tyres, saying he's losing a lot of front grip.
Perez takes sixth from Sainz.
Third for Vettel on his first proper attempt, 0.7s down on Raikkonen.
Bottas takes third, splitting the Red Bulls.
Vettel fastest through the first sector.
Ricciardo slots into second ahead of his team-mate.
