And with that, we bid you a fond Autosport Live farewell for today. Remember to keep on top of all the reaction to Friday's running on Autosport.com, and join us again tomorrow, just before FP3 starts at 10am UK time.

Here's our FP2 report – goodbye for now:
Russian GP: Vettel keeps Ferrari on top in second practice
So there we are! No Mercedes domination...yet. It looks good for Vettel and Ferrari, but how good? Maybe Ben Anderson will have some answers for us later.

Remember to join us again tomorrow here on Autosport Live – but in the meantime, do pay an immediate visit to our attractive sister Race Centre Live.

There's a cracking WRC round brewing in Argentina. Elfyn Evans holds a shock Rally Argentina lead in a British one-two with Kris Meeke, while Sebastien Ogier is in the thick of a massive five-way podium fight after an early error – and you can follow it here:

Just doing some quicker number crunching and Bottas/Mercedes will be quite pleased with the very long ultra-soft tyre run – if we take 12 laps from that (minus some anomalies) he averaged 1m38.5s. That's 0.3s quicker than Vettel's nine-lap run. However, the Ferrari does look strong and Hamilton in particular seemed unhappy on-track.

No change in the top 10 as everyone focused on long runs:

1 Vettel
2 Raikkonen
3 Bottas
4 Hamilton
5 Verstappen
6 Ricciardo
7 Massa
8 Hulkenberg
9 Magnussen
10 Perez
That's it for Friday practice in Russia – the second session is over, and Vettel ends it on top. More good news for Ferrari.
"Incredible," says Vandoorne, as one of the Force Indias just blasts past him from a long way back. He's been reading from the Alonso book on team radio.
Raikkonen had a big wobble under braking for Turn 2 just now, skated wide and across the run-off. No harm done, though, other than this lap being ruined.
Vettel's kicked off his super-soft efforts with a 1m37.478s, which compares very favourably to Hamilton – his first lap was a 1m38.880s, and his best time is a 1m38.359s.

Raikkonen's 1m37.844s out of the blocks on ultra-soft tyres is the fastest single lap we've seen on these longer runs, but that's probably to be expected with less than 10 minutes of the session left to run.

We have, impressively, had replies for #thingsIdratherdothanpaceanalysis. Well, you are missing out...
Vettel's bolted on super-softs and will get a few laps on the red-walled Pirellis to see out this session.
The two Ferraris after a dozen laps on super-softs and ultra-softs respectively. Just over 10 minute remain, and Raikkonen's headed out on the ultras now.
Vettel has the edge on this long run so far. He's about a tenth a lap on average faster than Bottas, with Raikkonen another tenth and a bit back on the super-softs.
Hamilton's switched to the super-softs after an unhappy, erratic stint on ultras. He didn't have the peaks of team-mate Bottas, either.
Like Raikkonen, Vettel has a surprise sudden burst of pace – he posts a 1m38.767s, having been lapping about 0.8s slower than that for a couple of laps.

Odd improvement from Raikkonen, who returns to the mid-1m39s after four laps in the 1m40s.
Replays show Verstappen just lost drive exiting Turn 16, and pulled over on the right-hand side on the run down to the penultimate corner. His car has been moved to a safe space, and the yellow flags withdrawn.
Verstappen has stopped on track before the pitlane entry. "Out of power," he reports.
Grosjean's had a spin at the final corner – but the Haas driver has got away with nothing more than a slight knock to his ego and some time lost.
Vettel's posted the slowest time of this run, a 1m39.434s. That's dropped off by about half a second, but the Mercedes aren't quicker than that right now. So it's still quite impressive from the Ferrari.
Raikkonen's follow-up to his mistake-hit lap is a 1m40.4s. Pretty poor, 1.5s off Vettel's ultra-soft pace.
Bottas and Hamilton committing to ultra-soft tyres for these runs, so Raikkonen's the outlier here.
Raikkonen drops a second on his latest lap, not exactly helped by a heavy lock up. He's continued – Vettel's still running in the high-1m38s.
If you don't find long-run pace analysis as fascinating as we do, tweet us @autosportlive with #thingsIdratherdothanpaceanalysis. Bet nobody does.
Bottas in the pits so we're not going to see him like-for-like with Vettel. Instead, we can monitor the two Ferraris on different compounds.

Bottas just has the edge on Raikkonen at the start of this run, although he is on the ultra-softs compared to the super-softs. Vettel, also on the ultras, is 0.5s quicker than Bottas on the first lap.

Vettel on ultra-softs, Raikkonen on super-softs for the start of what we're expecting to be a long run. Bottas is out on ultra-softs at the moment.
Here’s the top 10 with, we expect, the qualifying sims all done and dusted. Long runs imminent:

1 Vettel
2 Raikkonen
3 Bottas
4 Hamilton
5 Verstappen
6 Ricciardo
7 Massa
8 Hulkenberg
9 Magnussen
10 Perez
Is Toro Rosso really struggling, or is Wehrlein excelling? Either way, the Sauber's just a tenth shy of Kvyat towards the rear of the field. Stroll and Vandoorne yet to do a qualifying simulation.

Magnussen jumps into the top 10 in the Haas, posting a 1m36.506s. Really close fight in that part of the order – the Dane, Perez, Ocon, Alonso and Palmer all covered by less than 0.3s.
