Summary

Verstappen top of FP2, Ricciardo and Hamilton P2 and P3
Ricciardo stops on Kemmel straight in last half-hour with hydraulic issue
Brief red flag in final 15 minutes for broken ad hoarding at turn 1
Status: Stopped
That's all for today, folks. Thanks for your company and we'll see you back here on Saturday for qualifying day at Spa.

Stroll was 11th at the end of FP2 from Kvyat, Giovinazzi, Raikkonen, Leclerc, Russell, Vettel, Latifi, Grosjean, Magnussen.
Verstappen leads Ricciardo by 0.048s, with Hamilton, Albon, Perez, Bottas, Norris, Ocon, Sainz and Gasly completing a top covered by 0.856s.
FP2 has come to an end with Verstappen fastest of all on a 1m43.744s.

Ferrari are splitting strategy right now. Vettel is on the soft tyres while Leclerc is running the mediums. Day to forget for both in 15th and 17th in this session.
Just five minutes to go in FP2.
Verstappen has ditched the soft tyres he was running after encountering some vibrations and has switched to the medium.

Session back underway with nine minutes to go.
Renault says the issue for Ricciardo was a loss of hydraulic pressure.
It's the advertising boards on the armco on the outside of the run down to Eau Rouge that have come off and landed on track, hence the red flag.
Debris on track after Turn 1.
Session has been halted.

Hamilton would definitely only get a 4.5 for that one.
Wonder if we'll get an AWS-powered graphic rating driver pitlane exits?
Hamilton has a pretty big slide leaving pitlane on the hard tyre. The Mercedes driver just about kept his car from crossing the white line.

Ocon has asked his team what Ricciardo's problem was, but the reply was simply: "I don't know".
Ricciardo's car has been cleared. No visible or audible issue from the replay.
Virtual Safety Car has been deployed.
The Renault driver has now parked up on the side of the track. Not sure what the issue is yet.
Ricciardo has slowed on the Kemmel straight.

Interesting note for Sunday's race given how far behind Perez was when he activated DRS. Not a lot a car on the Kemmel straight will be able to do against a DRS attack.
Perez blasts past Hamilton using the DRS down the Kemmel straight.
Grosjean's first lap is a 1m45.834s and puts him 19th.
The track is a bit busier again as most likely switch focus to race runs.
Magnussen's first lap is a 1m46.242s. Team-mate Grosjean has taken to the circuit now.
Magnussen: "Thanks guys. Thanks for changing the engine."
Magnussen has head out on track now with just over half an hour to go.
Still a lot of work happening on Grosjean's car.

Just as I say that, some wheels are being fitted to Magnussen's car.
