McLaren has announced a new strategic partnership with Neom, a government-backed smart city project in Saudi Arabia, that will serve as the title sponsor of its electric racing teams.

The Spanish brand is officially immersed in Extreme E and ETCR, two fully electric championships with competition formats designed for the new generation. According to Wayne Griffiths, CEO of SEAT CUPRA, this is going to be the way forward for the coming years.
