The Acropolis Rally and the Circuit of Ireland will be included in the European Rally Championship calendar to be announced this week
The Circuit was scheduled for this year's ERC, but the loss of a financial backer made it untenable for 2013.
It ran as a round of the now-defunct IRC in 2012, when it was based out of Armagh.
The inclusion of the Acropolis is a further coup for the Eurosport-run ERC, with the Greek classic celebrating its 60th Stadium in Athens and a route including the roads which made this one of the cornerstones of the World Rally Championship.
The Circuit of Ireland will retain its traditional Easter weekend date, running on April 18/19 next season.
Talking about the rally's return to a frontline calendar, event boss Bobby Willis said: "The management team as well as our 700 plus volunteers are extremely proud and excited to be part of a new-look ERC.
"The Circuit of Ireland has always attracted high profile competitors and our inclusion in the 2014 ERC will help draw some of the best in the sport to Northern Ireland.
"The Circuit of Ireland is set to be an important economic driver for Northern Ireland in 2014.
"Indeed, it's estimated that the event will generate well over £1m for the local economy as well as attracting many first time visitors to the region."
The fifth Intercontinental Rally Challenge was the best yet, and it was Skoda UK driver Andreas Mikkelsen who emerged as champion from a tense five-way shootout at the season finale. Matt Beer reviews the season
