Robert Kubica will contest the 2014 European Rally Championship season-opener in Austria as a warm-up for his World Rally Championship campaign with M-Sport.
The Pole is switching from Citroen to M-Sport's Ford Fiesta for his first year in the top class of the WRC.
But he will first return to the ERC, where he ran a partial season in 2013, to contest the Janner Rally on January 3-5 driving a Fiesta in preparation for the start of the WRC season.
Kubica will make his competitive debut for M-Sport in the Monte Carlo Rally two weeks later, his first appearance in the classic event after retiring before the start in 2010.
Kubica's opposition in Austria will include Production class champion Andreas Aigner, who is switching to a Super 2000 Peugeot, and last year's Rally Poland winner Kajetan Kajetanowicz.
