Swiss star takes Donington double

Alain Menu triumphed for a second time at Monday's double-header BTCC round. The Swiss driver took his Ford Mondeo to a feature win, but it did not all go Ford's way this afternoon

The Honda of Gabriele Tarquini got among the Mondeos to come second, suggesting that Ford will not have it all their own way this season.

Polesitter Rickard Rydell was third, on the podium for the second time today.

Menu takes the championship lead from Jason Plato, who finished down in 7th in the feature race. Once again Matt Neal won the Independent's division, and Alan Morrision took honours in class B.
